UPDATE ON THE APPLICATION FOR A GAS FIRED PEAKING PLANT
In July, following the public consultation on the application by Jones Brothers to build a gas-fired peaking plant in Caernarfon, the Welsh Government's planning inspectorate, PEDW, requested further information from Jones Brothers and Gwynedd Council on several of the issues of concern that Caernarfon Lan and others had raised.
This further information has now been published online on the Case Work Portal (see link below) and a second period of public consultation has been launched by PEDW for responses on this new content. The deadline for the submission of comments is 17th October 2024.
